This is the home page of JEPP
Online.
Over 25,000 published-in-English published-in-Japan books, magazines,
monographs, journals, annuals, directories, proceedings, and other
publications are listed together with publisher address and contact
information. JEPP focus is on print/paper but online publications and
some useful links are included. Publications come from over 6,000
publishers including commercial publishers, universities, associations,
government and other
organizations in Japan. You are welcomed to view the alphabetical lists
of titles. Just click on the appropriate letter in the column on the
left.
Each title in the lists links to its publisher. Not all but many
publisher addresses contain an email or website link.
Normal title details consist of Title,
Author/Editor, Year Published (books), Year Publication Started
(periodicals), Pages, Pagesize, Hard/Softcover (books), Frequency
(periodicals), Price, ISSN, ISBN. Each title links (subscription
password required) to publisher details
which consist of: Organization name in
English, Organization name in romaji*, Department, Building,
Street/block address, City/prefecture, Postal code, Telephone,
Facsimile, Email, URL. Some records contain additional information on
the organization. Some URLs lead to websites that are partly or totally
in English. Some websites contain very little or no English. Some
websites also have pages in other languages such as Korean, Chinese,
French, German, Spanish, etc.

Though not available online, the JEPP inhouse database contains
much more information on publications that are published outside Japan
but that are on Japan, East Asia and Southeast Asia. We cannot always
help, but JEPP subscribers may also contact us when looking for such
publications.
Here in Tokyo we do not know what additional information you may want.
If there is enough demand, we will add additional information products
online or as specialized print reports/directories. If your needs are
very special, we can do research and prepare data just for you; this is
likely to be expensive as the time of a human will be required.
romaji = Japanese written using the English alphabet. JEPP does not use
either Japanese kana or kanji characters.
