IMC has over 40 years of experience in Japan importing and exporting business and technical journals and books. We are specialists in handling publications that are needed by professional clients overseas. If you have trouble getting what you need from Japan, there is a good chance that we can assist whether you want one book or magazine

At IMC we are always willing to accept orders from those in the trade. Tell us who you are and we will add you to our list to receive future announcements. Urgent requests for publications not in our price lists usually cannot be accepted. Please read the following to learn more about what we can and cannot do.

(a) We will give you a trade discount. Usually the discount is small but we will try hard to make it competitive for you.
(b) We will send you price lists two or three times per year and whenever we have something to announce. All announcements are sent only by email.
(c) We cannot send a speculative quotation on a long list of publications. If we know that you are interested in certain titles or types of publications, we will try to add them to our regular price lists in future.
(d) We can send a speculative quotation on two or three Japanese titles, but you must first give us full information on each title (exact title, publisher, whether new/renewal, air/seamail).
(e) You MUST give us the following information:

(f) The Japan Publications Guide Service (JPGS) offers much information on English publications published in, on, or for Japan, East and Southeast Asia. Take a look at the website at http://jpgsonline.com. Much of the information is free but there is also a professional level that may interest your company or your clients who need more information and more detail.
