Our prices are kept as low as possible and we must receive the full amount of the quoted price. Check or draft collection charges, credit card fees, or other substantial costs must be paid by the customer. The cheapest ways to avoid added costs are to pay by: JAPAN (a) local Yen check drawn on a bank in Tokyo, local Yen postal transfer, or payment by cash at our office. Bank transfer fees vary from insignificant to substantial depending upon which bank you use and where you are located. The registered postal cash envelope available at post offices nationwide is rather expensive. Use of credit cards (5% to 7%) or payment by foreign currency costs more but is sometimes very convenient. IMC can supply all U.S. magazines to Japan by fast air service; however, the costs will be high unless the publisher wants more subscribers in Japan. Other publishers usually do not provide good service with the result that special handling is required.  WORLDWIDE (b) If you are in the USA , the best way to pay is by sending us a regular personal or company US$ check payable to "imcbook LLC". Credit cards (only American Express and JCB are accepted) are very convenient but will result in some charges. We accept PayPal and find it to be very efficient, faswt and reliable around the world. PayPal does accept most credit cards. If you are in any other country , payment by US$ check/cheque/draft payable to "imcbook LLC" (payable on a bank in the USA) is preferred and there are usually no surcharges. Credit cards in this case are not recommended due to charges and possible currency fluctuations.
