   Books in the list above are sold and distributed by "kk imcbook" in Japan. Most books are in-stock today. The list changes weekly. Most books in this list are travel guides and maps. Publishers include Lonely Planet (AULO), Bradt (UKBT) and others. You will also find books by local expatriate authors, books on other Japan subjects such as history, art, society, business and more. Technical, engineering, and scientific books are not included here; ask us if wanted.
   If you are in Japan, most books will be on the shelf at stores such as Kinokuniya, Maruzen, Tower Records, National Azabu, Aoyama Book Center, etc. You can also order from us at IMC (kk imcbook). Older editions may also be available at a discount.
   In Japan you can also buy from Amazon.co.jp. Just paste the appropriate ISBN or title into the Amazon.co.jp search box on this page. Have someone help you navigate that website who can read Japanese. Amazon.co.jp separates "Western" (yosho) titles from "Japanese" (washo) titles. Books with an ISBN starting with 978-4 (Japanese ISBN) will be found only by searching Amazon's Japanese data even if the book is in English. If in doubt, search both washo and yosho.
   If there is a book that you want but can't find, ask us atkk imcbook. We can quickly (2 to 3 weeks) supply over a million books. Try the Google search box. Type in the ISBN, title or author. Google is great for searching.
