SEASONS GREETINGS

At least once a year Warren tries to write a yearend letter to send to friends and relatives. Sometimes he does it. Sometimes he writes it but is reluctant to send it and never does. Some years he just can't do it. And then there is mid-year.
He has never written a midyear letter but has often wanted to. March brings the end of the company's business/tax year. April brings cherry blossoms and green everywhere, and school events. June brings library and book conferences/exhibitions. October, more events. December is another tax season, holiday season, and the cycle continues. Once the holiday is over, January starts the strange season when our business customers adjust their buying to fit unused budgets.  People are thinking new as spring approaches. A good time to express thoughts and make decisions.
One of the reasons for these letters is to put a human face (even if alien and out of touch with the current generation) on the work we do. Every once in a while somebody actually reads what we have written and the comments that come back are interesting to say the least.
