|Paying to kk imcbook in US Dollars
The following standard information should apply to almost all payments to kk imcbook from outside Japan. Be sure to read our online or paper price lists and catalogs for any specific or special detail.
Payments from outside Japan are normally made in US$.
You must pay all transfer charges and bank fees.
Don't just send money, be sure that you also send your order to kk imcbook and tell us when and how you made payment.
Regardless of the publisher's or publication's name, when paying by check or draft in US$ from outside Japan, you pay to: imcbook LLC, but you send your order and check to the Japan address. You can always use the English name on checks. See our address details and name in English and Japanese here.
If you pay by postal transfer or bank transfer, you are paying to kk imcbook and your US$ payment is converted to Yen.
CHECKS: Checks drawn on banks in the USA are accepted. Checks, cheques, and drafts in US$ from outside the USA but payable at a bank branch in the USA are accepted. These checks MUST include the U.S. ABA bank routing code numbers. We will refuse checks that do not contain the proper coding. All US$ checks MUST be payable to imcbook LLC.
POSTAL TRANSFER: International postal transfers are accepted by kk imcbook. This requires conversion to Yen. Send to our Tokyo account 10510-71728741.
BANK TRANSFER: International bank transfer payments are accepted by kk imcbook. This requires conversion to Yen. Send to: Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi account 271-0029664. We MUST receive, after all charges/taxes/currency conversion costs, the amount of our invoice. Even so, weeks may be required for collection. This method of payment is suitable for only very large payments.
CREDIT CARDS : Though we do not accept credit cards directly, most cards are accepted when paying using PayPal. An advantage of this is that you never need to send your card information to us.
PAY PAL: If you are in the USA or other country that has PayPal, you may find it very easy and fast to pay by PayPal. US$ payment is standard but PayPal also accepts several other currencies. Just pay to firstname.lastname@example.org. PayPal is recommended for small payments under $1,000.00, but PayPal is extremely cautious when amount is large and that could delay or totally freeze payment for weeks.
